Locomotor and non-locomotor movements are two fundamental categories of movement in physical education, dance, and general body movement:
1. Locomotor Movements:
These involve moving the body from one place to another.
Examples:

Purpose:
Used to travel across space or move from point A to point B.
2. Non-Locomotor Movements:
These are movements that are performed without moving from one place to another. The body stays in one position but moves in place.

-Pushing or pulling (in place)
Purpose:
Used for flexibility, balance, strength, and coordination without changing location.
In Simple Terms:
Locomotor = Move from place to place.
Non-Locomotor = Stay in one place and move.
