About this product

Ramadan

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar and is considered the holiest month for Muslims. It is observed as a time of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community. During this month, Muslims fast from dawn (Suhoor) until sunset (Iftar), abstaining from food, drink, and other physical needs. Fasting is one of the Five Pillars of Islam and is meant to encourage self-discipline, gratitude, and spiritual growth.

Muslims also engage in increased worship, including extra prayers such as Taraweeh, reading the Quran, and making dua (supplication). The last ten nights of Ramadan are especially significant, with Laylat al-Qadr (The Night of Decree) being the most sacred, as it is believed to be the night the Quran was first revealed.

At the end of Ramadan, Muslims celebrate Eid al-Fitr, a festive holiday marking the conclusion of fasting.

Dua (Supplication)

Dua is a personal prayer or supplication made by Muslims to seek guidance, forgiveness, or blessings from Allah. It is an essential part of worship and can be made at any time. Dua is a way to communicate directly with Allah, expressing gratitude, asking for help, or seeking protection.

During Ramadan, dua holds even greater significance, as it is believed that prayers are more likely to be accepted, especially during fasting, before breaking the fast, and on Laylat al-Qadr.

A famous dua for Ramadan is:

اللهم إنك عفو كريم تحب العفو فاعف عني
"Allahumma innaka ‘Afuwwun Kareemun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa’fu ‘anni.”
(O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness, so forgive me.)
