Lightning McQueen is the main character in Disney-Pixar's Cars franchise, which includes three movies and various spin-offs. He’s a race car with a vibrant red paint job, number 95 on his sides, and a cocky but charismatic attitude to match. Voiced by Owen Wilson, Lightning starts off as a hotshot rookie race car in the Piston Cup series, known for his speed and confidence but also his arrogance.

In the first Cars movie, Lightning McQueen gets lost on his way to the final race of the Piston Cup and ends up in the small, forgotten town of Radiator Springs.
