If you are from the Philippines, then you should have seen this flower. This is known as Caballero but this flower is also called poinciana, peacock flower or flamboyant-de-jardin and has a scientific name of Caesalpinia pulcherrima.
It comes in colors such as red, yellow and orange can grow up to 3 meters tall. Being from a pea family, you may get intrigued with the seeds of this flower but beware; the seeds are poisonous. This flower is a great choice as an ornamental plant that is sometimes grown along pathways to color the landscapes.
