About this product

Locomotor and non-locomotor movements are two fundamental categories of movement in physical education, dance, and general body movement:

1. Locomotor Movements:
These involve moving the body from one place to another.

Examples:
-Walking
-Running
-Jumping
-Hopping
-Skipping
-Leaping
-Galloping
-Sliding

Purpose:
Used to travel across space or move from point A to point B.

2. Non-Locomotor Movements:
These are movements that are performed without moving from one place to another. The body stays in one position but moves in place.

Examples:
-Bending
-Stretching
-Twisting
-Swaying
-Turning
-Balancing
-Pushing or pulling (in place)

Purpose:
Used for flexibility, balance, strength, and coordination without changing location.

In Simple Terms:
Locomotor = Move from place to place.

Non-Locomotor = Stay in one place and move.
