French fries sight word phrase game is perfect for beginning readers. If your students are bored of the traditional “Boom!” style game, try this: the teacher holds the deck of cards in her hands.

You will group your class into 3 groups. All they need to do is read what is written on each fries and put the first fries they find into the container. The first group to finish wins!
