Few instructions:
a) List your chart of accounts with its code into the first sheet. The sheets are automated so you don’t have to manually check the chart of accounts once you start recording your transactions. If you enter an account title on the designated column, the corresponding account will appear after.
b) You can write a brief description of the transaction at the merged cell in the bottom. You can indicate in the Reference column any reference numbers or documents related to the transaction such as sales invoice number, official receipt number, purchase order number, etc.
c) For compound entries, right-click on the related row number at the leftmost column and select ‘insert 1 row below’. On the account code column, simply drag the small dot down the row you’ve just added to copy the function.
d) To add more rows in the general ledger, right-click on the related row number at the leftmost column and select ‘insert 1 row below’. On the balance column, simply drag the small dot down the row you’ve just added to copy the function.
